    Chico Police:

    Sunday, 6:30 a.m.: Suspicious subject at Great Harvest Bread Company on Forest Avenue. “Male subject outside sitting. Reporting party has told subject not to enter the business. Subject is known to reporting party as he frequents the location to use the bathroom to shower. Female employee is afraid to open the doors for business. Contacted reporting party, subject has been in the bathroom for 20 minutes. Subject moved along.”

    Sunday, 6:33 a.m.: Drunk in public on Lindo Park Drive. “Male subject who appears to be transient is leaning on a home. Subject is now knocking on reporting party’s window. Subject knocking on reporting party’s door, attempting an entry. Said ‘what’s up babe,’ through the mail slot. Officer on scene, reporting party confused where the subject is.”

    Sunday, 12:47 p.m.: Shoplift at Finnegan’s Jug on East First Street. “Subject who appeared to be 18-years-old stole a 24 oz. Four Loko beer. Reporting party states this is an ongoing issue with the same group of juveniles and wants to press charges. Officer viewing surveillance. Reporting party and juvenile will handle civilly.”

    Monday, 9:39 a.m.: Suspicious vehicle on Ivy Street. “Suspicious vehicle parked on 11th St between Ivy/Hazel. Vehicle did have bull horns on it but they have been removed. Vehicle has left the area.”

    Monday, 10:41 a.m.: Subject disturbance on Normal Avenue. “Transient female yelling on the property, threatening to burn it down. Officer spoke with reporting party, female left. Checking area.”

    Monday, 11:06 a.m.: Counseling at Theodore residence on Glenshire Lane. “Subject calling in false report of a ‘bad man’ pretending to be a doctor at Enloe. Contacted Enloe security who advised no problems at the hospital. Subject hostile with dispatch on the phone, insistent to talk with officer and have them respond to the ‘bad man’ and screaming children at Enloe.”

    University Police:

    Sunday,3:01 p.m.: Vandalism at Kappa Sigma house. “Large Greek letter removed from front yard and thrown down the street which broke into many pieces. Report taken.”


    Sunday, 4:36 p.m.:
    Property recovered in Merriam Library. “Student employee dropped keys down the middle elevator, they fell to the bottom. Property retrieved and returned to staff.”

    Monday, 3:46 p.m.: Property recovered in the golf area. “Syringe/needle found on the ground. Object disposed of.”

    Monday, 4:32 p.m.: Narcotics violation reported on Warner Street and La Vista Way. “Reporting party is a parent visiting. Reported her husband chased off 2 subjects from La Vista from smoking marijuana. They went into north dorms and returned with 10 friends. Reporting party fears retaliation to child’s residence on Warner. Email sent to University Housing.”
