Starbucks Vs. Dutch Bros. Blind Taste Test
Everyone’s heard the hype about Dutch Bros and how it’s so much better than Starbucks. The Orion team wanted to see if students may have bias due to the fact that it’s a nor-cal specialty and seen as more of a local product. We set up a test to see which people preferred and if they could guess the brands correctly. The results were pretty surprising!

I get diarrhea with some of the Starbucks flavored coffees. Have not had that issue with any of the Dutch Bros coffees.

I just moved to Boise, ID from…(you guessed it) Seattle. I have no real issue with Starbucks. I only get iced or hot lattes but Dutch bros. is just more every way but price. More coffee taste. More bang for your buck. Much much more “alive” employees.
Unfortunately Starbucks employees seem to have almost an attitude about working there (except maybe for managers). Its as if they’re doing you a favor or going out of their way just to help you. Search you tube for “cstomers Starbucks baristas hate”
Duth bros. Seems like they can’t help you soon enough. Smiles and a sense of urgency without seeming to rush you.
How many times have you (or another customer) at Starbucks waited for a drink that sat on the counter because they didn’t hear them call out your drink and/or your name. Speak up when my drink is ready please!!!

It’s interesting how the general comment was the Dutch Bros tastes like coffee and Starbucks was sweet. If I’m looking for a good cup of Jo, I’m heading to Dutch Bros. If I’m in the mood for liquid ice cream I’m in line at Starbucks.

Why did you let the subjects pick which coffee they tasted first? This needs to be randomized.
