The department of music and theatre’s 16th annual scholarship fundraiser, “Glorious Sounds of the Season,” will be taking place at Harlen Adams Theatre.

The final performance will take place today at 2 p.m.

“Glorious Sounds of the Season” is a Chico tradition that always gets its audience into the holiday spirit. The holiday-inspired live music event will include performances from community members, faculty and staff.

The performance will feature music ensembles from the music department, including the wind ensemble, Jazz X-press, the centennial organ, a capella choir, brass choir, chamber singers and the university chorus. The Children’s Choir of Chico will be representing community ensembles.

Tickets are available online or at University Box Office on the corner of Third and Chestnut streets.
