The Torres Community Center just received a $20,000 financial boost.
This recent donation came from Enloe Medical Center.
In January, the Torres Shelter faced a potential closure, due to its financial crisis.
Since then, the shelter has received more than $100,000 from fundraisers and donations.
The money will be used to provide meals, housing and support services to its guests. It is the only shelter that provides to men, women and children, in the area.
Each year, the Torres Shelter helps over 700 people.
