A few Chico State students have been solicited to attend out of town parties and business retreats, making them the targets of crime.
According to a campus-wide email, two incidents have involved students being asked to participate in activities which they were not comfortable with.
It is not known if both instances were related. In the incident regarding a business opportunity, the victim was asked to sign multiple contracts that could have violated the law.
Both incidents are being investigated by the University Police Department and other law enforcement.
