Associated Students Dining held an open forum this Wednesday in the BMU to discuss the possibility of adding branded food chains to campus.

Students discussed what type of food they would like to see on campus, employment of students, and much more.

“(AS dining) has done focus groups, surveys and market studies of other campuses in similar areas,” said Mary Wallmark, Program Coordinator at Chico State. “They’re really trying to look at what might be possible, they wanna be sensitive to student employment, they wanna make sure that they’re getting people what they want and they want it to be affordable for students.”

AS dining is asking students to fill out a survey of what they would like to see on campus, with more details to come.
