Three out of four robbery suspects were arrested on Friday after Chico Police received a call reporting a home invasion at a home in the 500 block of West 11th St.

When officers arrived at the home two people were inured and they stated that men armed with guns robbed them of their marijuana according to a Chico Police Department press release.

Officers got the description of the vehicle used in the robbery, and not long after, a patrol officer spotted the vehicle near Highway 99. At that point one of the passengers jumped out of the vehicle and fled while the others stayed in the vehicle and attempted to drive away.

The vehicle went eastbound on East Avenue, but quickly crashed into a curb when the three remaining passengers fled. Officers arrived and set-up a perimeter around the area.

Chico Police officers and the Butte County K-9 Unit then searched the neighborhood and found all three suspects along with two firearms and undisclosed evidence of the home invasion robbery.

Chico Police arrested Barry Eastmen, 22, Tolynn Scott, 20, and Marjoun Blount, 22, while the fourth suspect, who was first to jump out of the car, remains at large.

The three suspects were arrested and charged with home invasion robbery, conspiracy, felony evasion and weapons possession charges.

Officers would not release any more information at the time and are working to identify and apprehend the subject. Anyone with information on the subject is asked to contact the Chico Police non-emergency number at 530-897-4900.
