Reasons why lying is great

Lying is great.

It’s one of those things people do just because it’s easier to live with. Everyone loves easy living and being dishonest can help.

Think about it, lying can improve one’s quality of life and here’s how:

1. Lying to people is a great way to gain their trust and friendship.

People always want to be cool and popular and the best way to do that is to fib.

Lie about a favorite genre of music, lie about what family members do for work, lie about having a cool pet. People will love these interesting bits of information.

The more outrageous, the better, and the liar will be even more interesting. And undoubtedly everyone wants to be interesting.

2. Lying keeps the teller quick on their feet and overall mentally stimulated.

When lying a lot, there are tons of things to keep track of. Nobody wants to get caught, especially around a group of newly impressed friends.

So that sword from “Kill Bill: Vol. 1” that Uma Thurman, a good friend signed is missing? Well, that’s because the maid took it out to get cleaned after a vigorous session of ninja bear hunting. That’s a thing, right?

3. Lying is great because nobody ever gets caught.

In the day and age we live in, no one ever fact checks.

There are so many reasons to lie — these are just a few great ones.
