    Chico Police Department:

    Friday, 9:06 a.m.: Firearm found on the 600 block of East Seventh Street. “Reporting party (at Chico Police station), will be outside on benches. States he found a gun about a block from this intersection. States it’s some sort of automatic handgun. States the clip was loose a little but he pushed it back in. Chrome. States it is in his backpack which he left outside while he came in to the lobby.”

    Friday, 10:54 p.m.: Party complaint on the 400 block of Maple Street. “Subjects beer bonging on the roof and jumping fences. Approximately 50 party guests. Also loud voices and music. Townhouse at the corner.

    Friday, 11:16 p.m.: Disturbed subject on the 2500 block of the Esplanade. “Female in front of Boot Barn trying to stab people with a needle. Last seen near the Save Mart sign. Appears female has placed the needle in her backpack.”

    Saturday, 1:28 a.m.: Subject drunk in public on the 500 block of West Fifth Street. “Subject last seen in front of the catholic school headed to the dorms. Reporting party found the subject in an alley bloody after a fight. Only knows the subject by his first name. Concerned due to his level of intoxication.”

    University Police Department:

    Thursday, 10:01 p.m.: Suspicious subject on the third floor of Meriam Library. “White male adult in women’s single stall possibly smoking and drinking. Sergeant advising (one subject) detained. Subject moved off campus.”

    Friday, 6:23 p.m.: Suspicious subject around the Wildcat Recreation Center lobby. “Personnel advising they are out with a subject who believes he is being chased. Out with subject in front of WREC. Subject was moved along – (psychiatric detention not necessary) – will be waiting at bus stop.”

    Friday, 11:56 p.m.: Fire incident near Rio Chico Way. “(Officer) advising there appears to be a grass fire across creek from Yolo Field on Rio Chico Way. (Officer) advising in front of (800 block of Rio Chico Way) couch on fire. (Chico Fire Department) enroute. Fire has been extinguished.”
