<span style=”font-size: 12px;”>A Chico State alumna died Saturday at Enloe Medical Center, after being in a car accident Thursday on state Route 149.</span>

Sierra Fox, 24, was involved in a single car accident when her 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser went off the road, rolling several times, said California Highway Patrol officer Joe Ortiz. When police arrived they found the vehicle on its wheels and Fox unresponsive.

Police are still investigating what happened; officers won’t say if alcohol played a role in the solo collision.

Officials are waiting for lab results taken by the hospital when Fox was admitted, Ortiz said.

Fox suffered several injuries and was airlifted to Enloe Medical Center.

Several minutes before the crash, a reporting party called the dispatch center to report a reckless driver who was driving southbound on state Highway 99 fitting the description of Fox’s car, Ortiz said. The caller said the driver was driving in and out of lanes and tailgating other drivers.

Fox graduated from Chico State last year and was working in Sacramento as an associate district manager for Automatic Data Processing, according to her Facebook page.
