    Chico Police:

    Saturday, 12:09 p.m.: Hit and run on West Fifth Ave. “Victim in emergency room of hit and run, injured knee and bruising. Occurred last night. Subject was walking home from Arabian Knights at 3:00 a.m. last night. Was in crosswalk when unknown vehicle struck him. Cause subject to fall, hit his head and become unconscious. Woke up, picked up his hat and walked to a friend’s house. Was transported to Enloe, was treated and released.”

    Saturday, 3:16 p.m.: Vehicle stolen at Chico Mall on East 20th Street. “Vehicle last seen at about 12:50 along the middle back side of the mall. Reporting party at work, will meet with officer.”

    Saturday, 7:37 p.m.: Transient problem on Wisconsin Street. “Naked female behind reporting party’s house dancing by the creek. Ongoing problem with transients camping near the creek. Reporting party told her to put on her clothes and leave, female cussed at him.”

    Sunday, 9:09 a.m.: Firearm in public at 2925 Godman Avenue. “Subject walking with handgun in his hand next to his leg, walking from Godman onto San Gabriel Drive. Officer advising extensive gang history at that location. Male seen walking through complex. Unable to locate subject.”

    Sunday, 11:34 a.m.: Traffic hazard on Esplanade. “Mini-van southbound on Esplanade turning into Save-Mart. Vehicle had a lot of marijuana smoke coming from it. There were children in the vehicle while driver and passenger were smoking. Parked in front of Fashion and Shoes, officer out with subjects.”

    Sunday, 2:41 p.m.: Drive-by shooting at Chico Trailer Haven on Nord Avenue. “Three males in vehicle wearing black masks, front passenger was shooting. Reporting party advising about 4 shots fired, last seen on Nord westbound. Pulling into University Court. Medics to stage 8th/Nord, hold traffic. Officer detained subject, clear for now. Victim advising her vehicle was shot, confirmed there were no injuries.”

    University Police:

    Saturday, 7:09 a.m.: Suspicious subject at north side entry of Trinity Hall. “Transient was inside building and exited when custodian approached. Subject entered building when he heard them unlock to obtain some water, counselled and moved along.”

    Saturday, 8:43 a.m.: Property found at parking structure 2, 2nd floor ramp. “Keys found on Volvo, turned into University Police Department. Leave note on car window.”

    Sunday, 4:14 p.m.: Elevator malfunction in the Performing Arts Center. “Male subject stuck between basement and 1st floor. Very hot, requesting fire to respond. Chico Fire Department on scene, occupant out. Elevator out of service until Monday.”

    Sunday, 6:19 p.m.: Grand theft at Holt Station. “Reporting party left backpack with laptop on table unattended while he went down to the creek. Returned 5 minutes later to find property missing.”
