    Assault and battery with water hose on West 14th Street

    Chico Police:

    Monday, 11:23 a.m.: Found child at Turner Apartments on West First Avenue. “Child about 1.5 to 2 years old found walking in the street, currently in the alley. Reporting party stated another female picked the child up and is looking around for the parent. Officer out with mom, child returned and mom counseled.”

    Monday, 12:57 p.m.: Assault and battery on West 14th Street. “Tenant was moving items out and subject wanted to clean something with hose. Reporting party tried to stop him and subject pushed her and sprayed her with the hose. Subject is gone, reporting party requesting contact and counseling.”

    Monday, 8:15 p.m.: Tree limb down near Sierra View Elementary School on Hooker Oak Avenue. “Tree has fallen and is halfway across Madrone near the playground obstructing traffic. Ten feet out in the roadway. Tree crew en route.”

    Tuesday, 8:25 a.m.: Subject disturbance at Win Co Foods on East 20th Street. “Reporting party advising subject was causing a disturbance in the store and was told to leave. Subject left and knocked over reporting party’s parked motorcycle, subject pointed an object at the reporting party. Last seen going onto Chico Mall property. No damage to the bike, requesting counseling.”

    Tuesday, 1:40 p.m.: Subject disturbance on Lindo Channel. “Reporting party can hear subject yelling from across the creek, talking about killing someone. Second reporting party advising subject is somewhere in the bushes, yelling to go away. Officer out with subject, he was alone. Just yelling to himself. Subject moved along.”

    Tuesday, 2:15 p.m.: Animal bite reported on Mildred Avenue. “Reporting party advising his dog bit a Fed Ex employee, the employee went to prompt care. Reporting party’s wife out looking for the dog. The dog was quarantined for biting a plumber once, reporting party and wife will bring the dog back to quarantine.”

    University Police:

    Monday, 12:54 a.m.: Suspicious subject reported near Whitney Hall. “Male subject, red/brown hair hanging around the entrance brushing his teeth. Last seen on Legion Avenue. Unable to locate, gone on arrival.”

    Monday, 2:05 p.m.: Suspicious subject on 2nd/Orange. “Black male adult, 20’s, keeps following females in vicinity of WREC and dropping his pants. Not really fondling himself. Subject gone on arrival of officer.”

    Monday, 5:08 p.m.: Suspicious activity reported near train tracks on West Sacramento Avenue. “Hispanic male juvenile with approximately 13 other Hispanic male juveniles, subject has a large hand gun. Officer out with juveniles. Object was an airsoft pistol, admonished and released to their parents.”

    Tuesday, 7:27 a.m.: Vehicle burglaries in B lot. “Housing grounds reports vehicle broken into in B lot. Three vehicles, windows smashed. No loss in 2 of the vehicles.”

    Tuesday, 4:09 p.m.: Suspicious subject in University Village laundry room. “White male adult, 30’s, hanging out in laundry room after being advised he couldn’t lay down in the office. Officer out with subject in laundry room, subject moved along.”
