The pumpkin spice latte has become a staple fall drink for many, as essential as warm mittens and knitted scarves. For this DIY latte, inspired by Starbucks’ popular drink, I used real pumpkin puree for a fresh taste.

Total Time: 10 minutes
watercoffee1 tablespoon pumpkin puree1/3 cup milka dash of pumpkin pie spice
In a tea kettle, bring water to a boil and make a cup of drip coffee in a tall glass.Measure 1/3 cup of milk, then heat up in a small saucepan or a microwave.Add pumpkin puree to the heated milk and stir.Add the heated milk and pumpkin mixture to the coffee and top with pumpkin pie spice.
