The Facilities Management and Services department started to rewire the underground power lines connecting the streets light on First Street to the Student Service Center on Jan. 27.

“The new power lines will carry more electricity demand and will be connected to the student service center and all other places on the campus after the completion of the project.” said Danny Wright, an engineer working on the project.

The project commence earlier in the week and caused small inconveniences in traffic for students. The rewiring concluded latter in the week allowing normal student walking patterns to resume.
