Man shot in leg by Highway 32

On March 2. a man was shot in the leg near west Chico by Highway 32.

According to a press release, around 9 p.m. a 23-year-old man was walking on Highway 32 and East Avenue when he was confronted by two individuals . An altercation ensured and the man was shot in the leg. The gun shot victim was rushed to Enloe Medical center where he was treated for his injury.

The victim’s name has not been released while the two suspects were described as a white male and Hispanic male between the ages of 18-19.
