The WREC will host the fifth annual Ruckus Climbing Competition this Sunday, April 10.

The all-day event is a bouldering competition sponsored by local companies such as The Bear and Klean Kanteen. The competition, which is limited to 35 competitors, has already filled up.

The competition opens at 12 p.m. with climbing commencing at 1 p.m., followed by awards and a raffle at 4:30 p.m.

For those who did not register for the Sunday competition but still want to compete, the climbing gym hosts a month-long climbing competition on both the top rope and bouldering walls.

The month-long competition is open to anyone who wants to participate and no experience is needed.

Additional information, including prizes for the month-long competition, can be found on the event’s Facebook page.
