One of the biggest blows the Wildcat baseball team last season was the loss of senior infielder Andru Cardenas. Cardenas fell ill with a rare disease called Guillain-Barre Syndrome. The Chico State baseball team continued to play inspired ball for him throughout the season. However it was for him, instead of with him.
