New minor officiates at Chico State

Students will now be able to minor in food science effective fall 2018.

Gayle E. Hutchinson has approved the following as a minor on September 11, 2017.

“Upon the recommendation of the Academic Senate and the concurrence of the Provost, I approve the addition of a New Minor in Food Science in the Department of Nutrition and Food Science within the College of Natural Sciences”, Hutchinson said in a press release.

The total number of units required for the minor will be 18-19 and it will be effective Fall 2018.

    You really shouldn’t use words you don’t know the meaning of in headlines. In what way is this new degree offering acting as an official?
