“Through the Late Night” is the Arts & Entertainment’s new music podcast for The Orion News. Led by section writers Mitchell Kret and Angel Ortega, every other week you’ll get to hear them tackle different topics and issues facing the music industry, as well as highly anticipated music releases.
This week, they give updates on 21 Savage and his new philanthropic campaign, R. Kelly’s recent interview denying his allegations, Jay-Z assisting a sixth grader to get his charges dropped and Florida rapper YNW Melly’s not guilty plea regarding his murder conviction.

Their main story focuses on Jaden Smith’s recent efforts to provide residents of Flint, Michigan with clean water through a collaboration between his foundation, Just Water Foundation, and First Trinity Missionary Baptist Church.
