    University Police:

    Thursday, 12:05 p.m.: Suspicious subject in Laxson Hall. “Two males and a female and dog, about one hour duration with lots of stuff. Out with 3 and loud dog. Subject using power to charge cell phones. Juvenile been released to Chico High School.”

    Chico Police Department:

    Thursday, 8:44 a.m.: Missing juvenile reported on East Ave. “Nine year old dropped off at McManus this morning, and left campus after mom was leaving. Reporting party says he does this sometimes because he doesn’t want to go to school. Reporting party is at home, says every other time he has done this reporting party has found him wandering around on the streets around the school. Reporting party getting a phone call from the school right now, dispatch is on hold. Update school saw juvenile walking northbound on North Ave, from the school. Reporting party is going to drive to look for the juvenile, will have her cell with her. Contacted one unit on North, he had not seen juvenile in the area. Dad also in area looking for the juvenile. Juvenile located in parking lot of school, out with another juvenile and parents. Cancel other units.”

    Thursday, 10:23 a.m.: Drunk in public at Jesus Center. “Group of subjects. Male hitting female and female swinging purse at him. Jesus center clients, about 5 subjects outside. Landline with female victim, who says her mother’s ex-boyfriend punched her. Male subject ran northbound toward 12th, then east bound on 12th. Unit will search area. Subject out on bike, 12th / Pine St. Wrong subject. Subject was identified and Jesus Center requested him. Victim was on battery, is refusing prosecution. Subject arrested for lewd conduct. Subject advised from Jesus Center.”
