Institute recognized for fundraising efforts

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute is in the running for a $1 million endowment from its parent organization, The Bernard Osher Foundation. If selected, it will be the second time the organization has been granted an endowment.

Study shows increase in jail violence

While the state legislation, AB 109, might be reducing the inmate population of state prisons, it is bringing more violence to jails, according to a new study by members of the Chico State Political Science Department.
