The Office of Civic Engagement at Chico State will be hosting several events and sharing resources for students in the next three weeks leading up to the Nov. 5 election.
The events are:
Oct. 28, 5-8 p.m.
- Nonpartisan phone banking to voters across Butte County to disseminate voter and election information and encourage voter turnout in MLIB 213
Nov. 4, 5-8 p.m.
- Nonpartisan phone banking to voters across Butte County to disseminate voter and election information and encourage voter turnout in MLIB 213
Nov. 5, 11 a.m.- 3p.m.
- Ballot Bash! Election Day Celebration — with voter information, voter liaisons, etc. — at Trinity Commons
“As individuals and as a community, election season offers a timely opportunity to consider our civically minded roles — on our campus, in our region, and throughout the world,” the Civic Engagement office stated in an email.

Here is the link to register to vote, re-register to vote and review important voter registration information such as an address or political party preference.
The deadline to register to vote by mail or online is Oct. 21, but the option to register in person at all polling locations is allowed up to and on Nov. 5, Election Day.
Mail ballots have already been sent out in Butte County and should be arriving shortly.
