A male bicyclist crashed into a parked car in the WellCat Health Center parking lot, fell to the ground and was pronounced dead on the scene early this afternoon, according to a press release by the University Police Department. 

Officers who responded to a report of the incident, as well as medical personnel, performed life-saving efforts to the unresponsive man, the press release stated. Foul play is not suspected, and identification of the man will be withheld until his next of kin can be notified.  

Previous deaths on campus include those of 20-year-old Zach Baggins and 55-year-old Linda Blacksten, both in 2018.
