As part of a Community Climate Action Day on the Chico State campus on April 25, volunteers worked on a variety of projects, including helping to build habitats for native bees. The day of collective action was in partnership with California Volunteers, Office of the Governor, and California Climate Action Corps Fellows led volunteers through the projects.

Raquel G. Frohlich is a transfer student majoring in religious studies (online) and this is her first semester with The Orion. She lives in LA and is a proud graduate of Los Angeles Pierce College, with associate degrees in journalism and photography and too many years at the student publications on campus.
