Breaking News: Canvas is still down for Chico State

The Orion will continue giving updated information as it comes out

Update: Between 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m., the California State University system will enable access to Canvas.

As of May 8, 10 a.m. Chico State’s Canvas is still down due to the recent cybersecurity incident involving Instructure. There is no confirmation on why Chico State’s Canvas is still down.

According to Instructure Status Canvas is available for most users.

Several students from Butte College said their Canvas is back up. According to Sacramento State, Canvas is functional for them as well.
