    Suspicious circumstances at Peet’s Coffee and Tea

    Chico Police:

    10:32 a.m.: Suspicious circumstances at Peet’s Coffee and Tea on Main St. “Subject exited vehicle at location, pulled a vehicle citation from inside and placed on windshield. Since then he has been walking back and forth in area and occasionally meets with other subjects.”

    12:22 a.m.: Runaway reported at Passages Group Home on East Ave. “Reporting party conducted room check around 1:15 a.m. and notices juveniles were gone. Reporting party was doing the checks because one of the juvenlies stated she was going to leave. Juvenile left sometime between 10:30 p.m. and 1:15 a.m.”

    University Police:

    6:44 a.m.: Suspicious subject in O’Connell Hall. “Possible non-student male subject trying to access room. Second incident, transient sleeping behind Acker Gym, southwest corner between Acker and Yolo near golf greens. Male subject requesting entrance into room 136, subject states he left his bag in the room last night. Reporting party states he is the same subject as previously called about.”

    7:56 a.m.: Vandalism in Physical Sciences building. “Front of the room speaker is damaged and not operable. Damage not reported and unknown how it happened. The speaker face was removed and inner parts torn out. Last time reporting party was in the classroom was in the summer time.”
