Trivia night will test students music knowledge

Music lovers are encouraged to test their knowledge in the genres of indie, classic rock, hip-hop, electronic and more at KCSC Radio’s first Music Trivia Night.

The trivia night will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on April 2 in the old Common Grounds area in Bell Memorial Union basement 008.

Students are encouraged to gather their best music-minded allies in teams of no more than five people.

Space is limited and the event is first come, first serve.

Senior music industry major Sarah Manha, also KCSC’s Radio Music Director, said she is looking forward to watching the teams compete.

“My favorite part about music trivia is that ‘on the tip of your tongue’ frustration point where you know you know the song, but you can’t think of the name, artist or album,” Manha said. “It’s great to watch everyone go through that struggle, and then see that ‘of course’ moment when they find out the answer.”

Students must book in advance by sending notice of their team reservation, including the number of team members and team name, to Manha, at [email protected] by March 31.

For more information, email Sarah Manha at [email protected], stop by the KCSC office (BMU basement 006) or call their office at 530-898-6229.
