8:55 a.m. Vehicle tampering reported in the 1000 block of Ivy Street. “Reporting party reporting his vehicle was vandalized. Subject wrote on reporting party’s vehicle in blue pastel crayon or something along with several other vehicles. The antenna has also been bent.”

10:56 a.m. Vehicle burglary reported in the 1200 block of North Cedar Street. “Car broken into last night. The reporting party thinks it may be his friend’s neighbor.

3:16 p.m. Threats reported in the 500 block of Main Street. “Reporting party says subject threatened him with a large stick after a verbal. Subject was last seen near the plaza. Reporting party is at Jack’s Restaurant.”

3:51 p.m. Suspicious subject reported in the 600 block of Broadway Street. “Chico Area Transit System is the reporting party. They have had a past problem with a subject on the bus touching girls. One of the supervisors sees him. About one month ago, when the police department tried to contact him he took off running.”

4:09 p.m. Special patrol requested in the 1100 block of North Cedar Street. “Extra patrol requested due to stabbing incident last weekend.”

4:49 p.m. Reckless vehicle reported in the 400 block of Broadway Street. “Big rig ran and gray truck ran red light after racing.”

11:54 p.m. Assault and battery reported in the 500 block of Nord Avenue. “Laceration to his left cheek. Subject is a friend.”

<strong>Saturday, Sept. 22</strong>

2:03 a.m. Drunk in public reported in the 900 block of West Fourth Street. “Two male subjects at her door, now all four talking about sex. They did try her door. Her door is locked. They asked for Ryan. She said Ryan did not live there. They did not leave.”

2:12 a.m. Fight reported in the 500 block of West Fifth Street. “Group of eight subjects fighting.”

2:20 a.m. Suspicious subject reported in the 1000 block of Nord Avenue. “Female in the lot asking people to buy booze.”

2:22 a.m. Suspicious circumstances reported in the 800 block of West Ninth Street. “Subjects just walked by reporting party’s house, over a vehicle carrying a couch. He heard them say they were going to put it on the tracks.”

2:43 a.m. Fight reported in the 600 block of West Hazel Street. “Two males and one female in intersection. Several calls. Apparently a crowd watching.”

3:50 a.m. Suspicious circumstances reported in the 1500 block of West Eighth Avenue. “Reporting party was leaving to hunt and found an abandoned pedicab in the middle of the street. He pulled it out of the road.”

2 p.m. Subject reported in the 200 block of East Second Street. “Male subject walking on Second Street, possible knife (cleaver). Has a mask on his face carrying a large meat cleaver. Unknown if it is real. Walking up and down on Second between Wall and Main. Determined to be an employee of new costume shop.”

4:24 p.m. Drunk in public reported in the 1100 block of Nord Avenue. “Drunk male has passed out on lawn.”

4:41 p.m. Stabbing reported in the 400 block of Rio Lindo Avenue. “Stab wound to abdomen, mouth. Suspects live across the street. Reporting party has the knife.”

5:47 p.m. Threats reported in the 100 block of East Fourth Street. “Two threatening phone calls to reporting party’s cell phone. Male told the reporting party he was a gang member and would kill him.”

6:18 p.m. Residential burglary reported in the 300 block of West Fourth Avenue. “Says he just got home from vacation. Subject kicked in the front door and stole his fire safe with $1,300 worth of cash and baseball cards. Neighbor saw reporting party’s brother there and says he is responsible.”

9:32 p.m. Drunk in public reported in the 200 block of West Fourth Street. “Drunk is following reporting party from the vigil on foot.”
