    Man attacks Redbox rental machine, calls it ‘an enemy’

    Wednesday, 3:31 p.m.: Citizen report at Has Beans Coffee and Tea Co. on Humboldt Avenue. “Reporting party found bones in the creek bed area across from coffee shop. Reporting party was looking for odd rocks and found bones and a shrine. Thinks they may be human bones. He stated he threw the larger piece into the dry creek bed but he is unable to locate it. He’ll bring in any bones he finds.”

    Wednesday, 10:59 p.m.: Disturbance at City Plaza on Broadway Street. “Customer came in and asked for reporting party to call police because there is a female running around in the City Plaza hitting people. Witness has left and reporting party does not have any more information.”

    Thursday, 1:08 p.m.: Person with a gun on Arcadian Avenue. “Reporting party saw a male in a white pickup pointing a gun at another male on the street. Initially the truck peeled out northbound on Arcadian Avenue then circled around. There was an exchange of words. No victim at this time.”

    Thursday, 2:05 p.m.: Threats made on Viceroy Drive. “Reporting party coming into the police station to speak with an officer regarding threats from reporting party’s daughter’s ex-boyfriend. Reporting party stating his daughter received a call today from subject stating ‘I know where your dad lives and I’m going to burn his house down.'”

    Friday, 12:16 a.m.: Transient problem at Win Co Foods on East 20th Street. “Transient punching the Redbox machine. He has a bike and all his belongings with him. Reporting party is concerned he was becoming a disturbance to customers. He has mental health issues and thinks the Redbox machine is his enemy.”

    Friday, 3:07 a.m.: Threats made at Denny’s on Mazanita Avenue. “Employee advising the male subject called her a snitch and threatened to come back and kill her. The subject has left. Reporting party is requesting to speak with an officer.”

    Friday, 7:45 a.m.: Drunk in public at 7-Eleven on Main Street. “Security out with very drunk male. Male leaving on foot on Main Street towards Second Avenue walking into traffic. Subject just fell down over on the sidewalk but doesn’t appear injured. Security will stand by with him at Mr Copy.”

    Friday, 10:29 p.m.: Possible drug activity at Crazy Horse Saloon on Main Street. “Reporting party has two subject detained who were using drugs in the bathroom. Both subjects are being cooperative and both are still inside the business. Reporting party called back to advise the subjects are still there and there are drugs dumped on the floor of the bathroom. Reporting party could not identify which subject were in possession of the drugs. They are being removed from the bar.”

    Friday, 11:58 p.m.: Suspicious circumstances on West Second Avenue. “Lights are on inside. Reporting party observed a group of subjects break into the business stating they picked the lock and when they opened the door they said ‘Oh yeah!’ They are now inside at the cash register. Two males and one female, one is wearing a plaid jacket.”
