    Help with tax preparation comes to campus

    Chico State’s Delta Zeta chapter of Beta Alpha Psi are here to help with free tax preparation sessions starting Feb. 7.

    According to a press release, the accounting club at Chico State, Delta Zeta and the IRS have partnered up to prepare taxes and e-file the returns for free. The program is offered for students who have made less than $53,000 in 2014.

    If qualified for these services, you would need to bring to the sessions:

    • A copy of last year’s tax return
    • Social Security cards of you, and if you have a spouse
    • Wages and earnings statements
    • Documentations for any deductions or credits
    • Valid check for direct deposit fund
    • A photo identification

    The free tax preparation sessions start on Feb. 7 and continue on Feb.14, Feb. 21 and Mar. 7 in the Bell Memorial Union 008 between 10 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
