Son brings meth to family barbecue

Driver in a white Ford truck ran into a tree and admitted to texting while driving.

Call Type: Noise Complaint 5:42 p.m., Warner Street

Caller claimed that there was loud music coming from the apartment complex as well as people trimming marijuana plants in the area. When reporting officers arrived, there was no music, people or drugs.

A family was having a Labor Day BBQ when their son threatened to hurt himself and anyone who got in his way. His family members saw him shooting up meth inside the apartment. When the authorities arrived, the subject and the family calmed down and the situation neutralized.

Woman awoke at five in the morning after hearing her window open and looked up to see a male poking a stick though her window screen. She yelled at the alleged prowler to get out of there and he ran out of the area through an alley.

A cat was hit by a car and was brought into the Valley Oak Veterinary Center. After the owners of the cat arrived at the office, they were very angry that they weren’t allowed to see or handle their cat. Male told the clinic that if they were not allowed to see the cat, “There would be trouble.” Butte County Animal Control is handling the situation.
