On June 7, California will vote in a local, state and federal primary.

Alongside voting for candidates for the presidential elections, District 1 residents will be voting for a representative.

The incumbent, Congressman LaMalfa, has held the position since 2013.

His opposition includes Jeff Gerlach, Gregory Cheadle, Jim Reed, Joe Montes and Gary Allen Oxley.

Along with a representative, two Butte County measures regarding marijuana will be on the ballot.
