Chico State President Gayle Hutchinson reminds students and staff to sympathize and support those affected by Southern California wildfires.

The Thomas fire alone has burned 115,000 acres, according to a CalFire tracker.

Support to colleagues at California State University sister campuses affected by the fires has been offered, according to Hutchinson in a press release. CSU campuses affected include Cal State Channel Islands, Cal State San Bernardino and Cal State Northridge.

The Campus Assessment Response and Education team on campus is offering services to any student in need of support.
