Kyle LaForce, a 20-year-old student in the mechanical engineering department died Tuesday night.

LaForce was part of the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity and a graduate of Pleasant Valley High School. A GoFund me page was created by his fraternity brothers to help with the expenses, the page reads. “Our fraternity is raising money for the family of Kyle LaForce who unexpectedly passed away in his sleep.” They set a goal of $1,000, and have so far raised $5,322.

“Kyle was one of the most loyal friends anyone could ask for,” stated the page in memory of LaForce. “He always had a smile on his face and had a fun, loving spirit that brought so much energy wherever he went.”
