Gabriela Rudolph, Multimedia Editor
Gabriela Rudolph is a senior with a major in public relations and a minor in broadcasting. She grew up in southern california where she first began her journalism journey in her high school newspaper, Sword & Shield. This is her second semester with The Orion and she is excited to be the new multimedia editor. After graduating, she hopes to return to southern california to work at an agency and possibly continue writing on the side.

Molly Myers, Managing Editor/Features Editor
Molly Myers is a transfer student from Palmdale, California. She is a journalism major also minoring in religious studies. Molly is Managing Editor at The Orion and previously worked as Editor-in-Chief. Her work is also published in Watershed Review. Getting to meet new people and hear their stories is her favorite part of being a journalist. Outside of The Orion she instructs yoga at the WREC and volunteers with the Torres Community Shelter.

Mawil Mateo, Multimedia Editor
Mawil migrated from Guatemala and spent most of his high school years in LA. After graduating high school, he moved to Chico looking to immerse himself in a different culture. He's a double major in journalism and theatre. His pastimes align well with his goal to work in broadcasting. He shoots vlogs and edits videos. He likes to stay active, enjoy nature and be on camera. His plan is to be involved in the broadcasting side of things. He wants to tell the stories of the people who are often overlooked and give them a platform to share their perspectives. Through his work, he hopes to make a difference in his community and hopes that his work leaves a positive impact on people.

Hunter Casperson, Opinion Editor and Layout Chief
Hunter Casperson is a senior journalism student on the Women’s Track and Field team. Hunter is passionate about advocating for civil rights which led her to pursue a career in journalism. Additionally, Hunter enjoys creative writing, photography and expression through other art mediums. Hunter will be furthering her education at Chico State, working to earn an interdisciplinary master's degree.
