    Chico Police:

    8:06 a.m.: Traffic hazard on Mangrove Ave. “Two white male adults yelling and throwing a shopping cart into the roadway on Mangrove. Suspects push it out into the street and when it is not hit by passing vehicle, they move it further into the street. Officer unable to locate.”

    9:01 a.m.: Stabbing in Chico. “Female patient just walked in to Enloe Medical with a stab wound to abdomen, currently in emergency room with trauma surgeon. Awake and taking, cooperative but not answering questions, says incident occurred in house in Chico. Officers investigating around 10th and Salem. Enloe advised Chico Police Department call back for a daily check for victim’s status.”

    1:01 p.m.: Accident, property damaged on West Sacramento Ave. “Reporting party hung up on dispatch after advising he was in a head-on collision. Called Chevron gas station and confirmed there was an accident at the intersection. Witness calling in advising driver of white Dodge was spinning tires in the street, went off the roadway hitting Toyota Camry. No injuries.”

    University Police:

    6:06 p.m.: Suspicious circumstances at University Village. “Reporting party heard glass break, nothing seen. Unfounded, negative at UV. Occurred on Nord Ave, CPD contacted.”

    8:24 p.m.: Drunk in public in Shasta Hall. “Resident advisor is out with inebriated male, non-resident guest. Officers out at room. Subject released to friends.”
