Despite this week-long aberration from normal springtime weather, sunny days are just around the corner.
That means shedding everyone’s winter layers of clothing to deal with the dry Chico heat. For the benefit of all though, please follow a few rules.
Most importantly, think about what you are revealing to the world when you wear less clothing. A good example: if you’re a guy with a carpet on your back, don’t wear a tank top. It’s not something any of us want to see.
Be sure to make careful note of color choices. If it’s 80 degrees outside, it’s probably a good idea to not wear a lot of black. You know, a color that absorbs heat. In the same vein, maybe stay away from gray and light blue t-shirts that broadcast sweat stains.
Warm weather means less clothing. We all have to find a way to get through the heat. Just be mindful of what is being uncovered. Please.
