We’ve all heard of the freshman 15. For some of us, that is just a myth. For others, it goes beyond those 15 pounds especially during college. Looking and being healthy are very important and looking to dieting in order to shed off those pounds seems like a great option. Even if it means going to the extremes such as starving one’s self in order to lose some pounds. However, dieting may not be as healthy as many of us deem it to be.
Going on a diet, such as taking weight loss pills or juicing, seems like such a great idea, especially as college students, time is of the essence. However, there are chances that diets won’t do all that much.
Even though it takes some time, taking the time to cook the right foods for each meal and exercising at least three times a week is always going to be the best route to losing weight. Of course, there are going to be times when each one of us will splurge on certain foods such as candy and ice cream. But it always needs to be done in moderation.
Think healthy and become healthy! Don’t always assume that a diet is the best route to go. Talk to a nutritionist if that helps you figure out a plan that works best.
