I believe that having sex in public is one of the most fun, exhilarating and downright sexy things two people can do together.
It’s something so right in a place where something can go so wrong. The feeling is indescribable.
On the other hand, I have both experienced and heard of public sex with an attitude that is too cavalier for the situation at hand.
Hopping in the back seat on the side of the freeway is not exactly the best place to avoid the authorities. Sex in the school bathroom submits couples to the torment of Snapchat and other social media.
Even in the heat of the moment, things must be put into perspective. There are consequences for getting caught, whether they are social or lawful. I have certainly had sex in public places that seemed great at the time but weren’t the best of choices.
That said, risk is the main attraction of having sex in public — the higher the risk of getting caught, the more passionate and exciting the sex is.
I have had sex outside of an apartment complex. Someone walked by and all they had to do was look left to see us going at it.
Another time, I had sex in a short alleyway with only the darkness hiding us, with only four feet separating us from passersby.
I also had sex in a completely lit laundry room, in the dead of night, with windows looking into the room from all angles.
I do not regret a single one of these experiences.
If you are planning to have sex in public, or if the situation arises in the future, pick a spot that is sheltered from people walking by. Try to make sure you are out of earshot as well.
After those conditions are met, establish a quick getaway route — look for a short fence to hop over or a wall to hide behind. Also, in case the moment gets interrupted, make sure that your clothes can be thrown on quickly in order to avoid a mishap on your way to the getaway route.
Then, it’s go time.
There is a fair amount of risk involved when having sex in public. It is not for the faint of heart. But for those that wish to venture into the sexual unknown, it can lead to an amazing experience, a wild adventure and a great story.
