Jessica Shippelhoute is a senior at Chico State currently working towards her bachelor’s degree in journalism public relations and a minor in sustainability issues. Fall 2020 has given me the opportunity to work for the Chico State Student newspaper The Orion and be part of a team that is putting together the weekly newsletter.  She is from the small town of  Yuba City, about an hour south of Chico.  Her dream is one day to be an independent sign language interpreter.
