Sydney Davis, a sophomore at Chico State, is joining The Orion for her first semester of reporting. She is majoring in journalism with a focus on public relations and hopes to share excitement and intrigue through her articles this year. When she’s not writing, she enjoys going to the beach in her hometown of Ventura, Calif., hiking and exploring creative pursuits like digital interior design and other spontaneous projects.
