Cesar Chavez Day weekend has come and gone. Here are some highlights:

Throughout the weekend, house parties lined the streets.


 

 

However, some people partied too hard. Like this person:

and this girl:

and this guy:

By Monday, the actual holiday, the streets were quiet.

Some students participated in Cats in the Community, a day of public service to honor Cesar Chavez.

 

The event was part of Chico State’s push to celebrate the holiday respectfully.

 

By Monday night, the streets and bars were close to empty.
