Chico Police:
7:14 a.m.: Suspicious subject at Raley’s at the Orchard on West East Avenue. “Female transient subject has come in every morning for the past week, usually very disheveled and half dressed. She has been caught at the rear of the store taking showers with the store spigot. He just kicked her out of the store, she is still out front.”
9:26 a.m.: Subject disturbance at Safeway on Mangrove Avenue. “Black male adult yelling he’s going to stab all the white people, no weapons seen. Last seen heading northbound through parking lot.”
9:21 p.m.: Subject disturbance at Menlo Pointe Apartments on Menlo Way. “Reporting party yelled at a group of juveniles through the window to quiet down. Four black male adults are at the door pounding and kicking, reporting party thinks they are upset that reporting party yelled at the juveniles who were being loud. Officer unable to locate subjects in the parking lot. Subjects gone on arrival.”
University Police:
11:18 a.m.: Suspicious subject near Butte Hall. “Black male adult has arms in the air, yelling various rambling. Subject was just passing through campus being loud, no problems. Left on 2nd St towards Salem.”
1:43 p.m.: Fight in front of Madison Bear Garden. “Two males in physical engagement, 4 subjects total. Two subjects chasing other 2, all dispersed. Chico Police Department notified, hadn’t received any calls. Officer was advised a few people on bikes were seen at child’s park, provided description of subjects seen.”
9:41 p.m.: Grand theft from Hazel parking lot. “Theft of silver Toshiba Satellite 17.5 inch laptop. Taken from backpack located in trunk of black 2013 Chevy Spark.”
