In honor of the 29th annual Chico World Music festival, which will feature international food along with live international music performances on Friday, Sept. 12 and Saturday, Sept. 13, I asked Chico State students about their favorite international dishes.

Jordan Fastenau, a graduate psychology major, likes pho, a Vietnamese noodle soup.

Kelly Seck, a first-year nutrition and food science major, prefers sushi, especially tempura rolls.

Abraham Martinez, a sophomore pre-business administration major, also enjoys sushi, particularly spicy crab rolls.
“I like spicy food,” he said. “It has to be something spicy.”

Madasyn Lewis, a first-year pre-nursing major, said her favorite food is enchiladas.
“If I were to make something,” she said. “I would want to make enchiladas.”
