Scotie Walker had a big game, picking up two assists and scoring a goal.
Megan Tabler scored on an assist from Walker 29 minutes into the first period, busting the game open. Carly Singer added to the lead on another assist from Walker, just 71 minutes into the second period. And Walker capped the night off with an unassisted goal three minutes later.
Goalie Brianna Furner didn’t need to get a save to pick up her first shutout of the year, behind a strong defensive performance from Chico State.
The Wildcats improve to 3-0 on the season with the win and Cal State East Bay drops to 0-3 on the year.
