The Chico State women’s basketball team beat The Dominican University of California 88-60 Saturday on the road.
Hannah Womack led the way with 23 points, seven rebounds and five assists for the Wildcats. Jazmine Miller added 20 points in the victory.
“Today we were disciplined and we executed and stuck to how we play,” Miller said. “We dictated the action.”
Also contributing for Chico State were Analise Riezebos with 18 points and McKenzie Dalthorp with 10 points and eight rebounds. Point guard Courtney Hamilton dished out 11 assists on the day.
The Wildcats improved to 1-0 on the year, while Dominican fell to 0-1 to start the season. Chico State will play next at home in the Carl’s Jr. Coslet Classic Tuesday.
