The Wildcats three-game win streak was snapped by the Torros in three games (25-18, 25-23, 25-21).
In the first game, the ‘Cats came out slow and the Torros stayed agressive and took the game 25-18. The Wildcats slipped up in the second game as they were up 23-21, only to let the Torros score the next four points to lose 25-23. In the third game, both teams were tied at 20 apiece but the Torros once again pulled away 25-21.
The leader for the ‘Cats was junior middle hitter Lindsay Quigley who recorded 11 kills. Junior outside hitter Ellie Larronde added 10 more kills and freshman setter Torey Thompson had 35 assists.
The Wildcats are now 13-13 on the season and 10-9 in conference play. The ‘Cats next game is Saturday at Cal State L.A. at 7.
