Josh Trout has been appointed as the new director for faculty development.

“As the new director, one of Josh’s special interests will be to find additional avenues to enhance the physical, psychological, spiritual, intellectual and social well-being of campus employees,” stated a Chico State campus announcement.

Trout will begin his appointment July 17, replacing the interim director, Zach Justus.

Trout has worked at Chico State, in the Kinesiology department, for the past fourteen years. He has acted as the department chair since 2014.

“During his time at CSU, Chico he has maintained an active record of publication and been involved in numerous professional development opportunities offered through faculty development,” according to a Chico State campus announcement.
