This week, we are talking about the history of the “Assassin’s Creed” video games and our personal perspectives on the franchise. In anticipation of the new game, now released, “Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey.” We sat down to discuss the game franchise’s impact on video gaming overall. Combat and gameplay mechanics, as well as game design and writing, have evolved and the new game has a lot of expectations to meet. We have dissected each piece of the game that made it work and what the series still has to improve on.
