The Chico State women’s basketball team kicked off their road trip by defeating the Cal Poly Pomona Broncos 85-73 on Thursday.
Senior guard Jazmine Miller dropped 17 points, six assists and four rebounds to push the Wildcats to another victory.
Six Wildcats were in double figures as they buried a season high 11 3-pointers. The Wildcats lead the whole game and kept an aggressive attack to be up at halftime 45-30.
In the second half, the Wildcats traded basket for basket with the Broncos and maintained a cushion lead. Senior forward McKenzie Dalthrop contributed 14 points, four rebounds and two assists.
The Wildcats improved to 10-5 on the season and 6-5 in conference play. Their next game is on the road Saturday against Humboldt State at 5:30.
